Introduction to Aristotle has the kind of title C.S. Lewis envisioned belonging to books in hell. I’m not really sure why. It wasn’t a fun read, but I didn’t really expect it to be, and I’m glad I was able to experience it for a $7 paperback instead of a $50 multi-volume set.

He’s one of the few people who influenced philosophy more than Plato, but he’s at least twice as hard to understand. I passed the essay test about it in college, but I wish I could say I understood it.
